The Simply Living Fair was first held by the Center for Sustainable Living in 1992 to celebrate simple, sustainable, and green lifestyles.  The event has been held intermittently for the last twenty years with different themes and partners but always a core commitment to living well in harmony with the Earth.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about different philosophies, technologies, strategies, and approaches to living well that can range from nature meditation to home weatherization, from hanging laundry to air dry to hanging bat boxes, and from signing petitions against global warming to signing up for environmental awareness classes.

There are many ways to get involved locally and the Center for Sustainable Living is pleased to offer this event as an introduction to many of the best options.  Our mission is to make available information, services, projects and networking opportunities for those interested in exploring ecologically sustainable ways of thinking, living and interacting in our community.  We believe that individual action is the key to improving our world both locally and globally and that knowledge is power.  If you enjoy the fair, please consider becoming a member!
